How to adjust the optical path of the laser cutting machine to be coaxial

  1. Optical Path Coaxial (Center Point) Adjustment: Stick transparent tape under the nozzle and observe the effect through the "single - shot" operation. Normally, a small dot burned by the laser should be left on the transparent tape. If this dot cannot be seen, it indicates that the center of the nozzle deviates too much from the center of the laser, and adjustment is required to ensure that the laser beam can accurately pass through the center of the nozzle and improve cutting accuracy.

  1. Coaxiality Adjustment of the Nozzle Hole and the Laser Beam

Stick transparent tape on the nozzle opening.

Set the "single - shot power" to 10% - 20% and press the "single - shot" button.

Carefully remove the transparent tape, keeping its direction for comparison with the nozzle. Observe the center point formed. If the size of the center point varies, check whether the conditions are consistent and whether the focusing lens is loose to detect and solve optical path anomalies in a timely manner. Normally, a small dot burned by the laser should be left on the transparent tape. However, if the center of the nozzle deviates too much from the center of the laser, this dot will not be visible (the laser beam hits the nozzle wall).

  1. Light Spot Adjustment Method: Use a small hexagonal wrench. Tightening X and loosening Y can move the laser spot to the right; simultaneously turning X and Y in can move the laser spot upward; turning Y in and X out can move the laser spot to the left; simultaneously turning X and Y out can move the laser spot downward. Each time, turn 2 - 5 degrees and adjust slowly until the ideal effect is achieved to ensure the accurate focusing position of the laser beam and improve cutting quality.
